PUSSERS BRITISH NAVY 95%
The tradition of giving daily rations of rum to the British Navy is gone (1655-1970), but the rum lives on. Distilled on one of the oldest stills in the world, Pusser's is made the same way it always has been, on a wooden pot still that is over 200 years old in the former British colony of Barbados. There is definitely some beautiful funk here with faint notes of vulcanized rubber rubbing elbows with thick molasses, pecan pie, chocolate orange, cinnamon buns, and grated nutmeg. A standard that reminds us why rum is one of the greatest drinks in the world.
